How to remove duplicates by one or more columns

  1. Upload your .xlsx, .xls or .csv file and pick the sheet if there is more than one.
  2. Select the column(s) that identify a duplicate, for example Email, or Order ID + SKU. Select none to remove only rows that are identical in every column.
  3. Tick Keep the last copy if newer entries are lower in the file.
  4. Click Remove Duplicates and download. The Excel download has two sheets: the unique rows and the removed duplicates, so you can check what was dropped.

When people use this

  • Cleaning a mailing list exported from several forms before importing it into an email tool.
  • De-duplicating order or transaction exports that overlap because they were downloaded for overlapping date ranges.
  • Keeping only the latest record per customer or SKU (select the ID column and tick "keep the last copy").
